We've covered the whimsical compositions of Brighton-based psychedelic experimentalists Wax Machine a couple of times since they caught our ears in 2018 with the wonderfully bizarre 'Mind Palace'. Having since signed a deal with Beyond Beyond Is Beyond (home to Tengerr, Kikagaku Moyo and more), 'Truth' is a fuzz-flavoured cut from their recently released debut LP Earthsong of Silence. Musically, 'Truth' explores the heavier and more relaxed sides of Wax Machine's sound, striking a satisfying balance as the group embark on their quest for clarity. Vocalist and guitarist Lau Ro explains: "I wrote the lyrics as a way to prompt myself and whoever wants to join me in the search for truth by looking inward in quiet contemplation. What I have found is that truth is beyond opposites.
